- ➤ Twenty-seven artists from local, national, and international areas are taking part in the Bozeman Art Museum’s third annual plein air painting week by painting outdoors across Gallatin and Park counties. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City staff removed 110 tons of trash from public areas — not including abandoned vehicles — after Ordinance 2172 reduced urban camping from nearly 300 to 22. Officials said remaining campers must leave within two months while plans to consolidate camping areas and boost affordable housing move forward. KBZK
- ➤ Montana search and rescue teams remain ready year-round to help visitors and locals in the outdoors. Gallatin County handled about 130–140 calls with seven incidents last week, while Missoula County completed more missions by May 24 than all of 2024, relying on volunteers and specialized gear for summer and winter rescues.
