- ➤ Gov. Gianforte signed House Bill 210 in Helena in April to lower unemployment insurance tax rates for over 32,000 Montana businesses in 2026. Over 7,100 firms will pay zero percent, saving more than $23 million as the unemployment fund stays strong (exceeding $643 million). KBZK
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Bridger Bowl opened ski season Friday with five lifts running despite low snow, drawing eager skiers to try runs at Sundog, Sunnyside, Virginia City, Alpine, and Bridger Midway. Visitors celebrated the start of winter with fun turns and unique milestones (including birthday rides and an 18-year streak). KBZK
- ➤ Montana State alum (Jamey Perlinski, class of '94) has turned an old RV into a tailgate hub that has been a fixture at Bobcats games since 2018. He will continue to use it during MSU playoff games to bring family and friends together. MontanaRightNow
