COMMUNITY NEWS

  • The Downtown Bozeman Partnership Management Committee decided not to print Ghassane Moutaoukil’s poster entry for the 45th Annual Christmas Stroll — citing safety concerns for participants and sponsors — and will use a photo of the Holiday Spiders on the official poster ahead of the event on December 6th.  Bozeman Magazine

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Bozeman Fire Department introduced a Quick Response Vehicle called Squad 2 to help with medical emergencies—this new vehicle replaces traditional ambulances and will be in operation next week for the Thanksgiving holiday.  MontanaRightNow
  • Central Valley Fire District will begin building a new Belgrade station on December 1 to expand its maintenance facility from one truck to eight. The larger facility will reduce repair times and boost emergency responses when it is completed on April 1 — a change aimed at improving service for the community.  KBZK

HEALTH NEWS

  • On November 1st, Bozeman’s first Center for Holistic Surgery opened—introducing a new way to blend wellness with surgery recovery and preparation. Dr. Jennifer Stevane uses methods like supplements and an anti-inflammatory diet, and patient Lona Voigt said her recovery from a major surgery was better than before.  KBZK
