- ➤ Bridger Ski Foundation started breaking ground on its first permanent facility in Bozeman to make skiing more accessible in the Gallatin Valley—this new space will have areas for coaching, recovery and athlete development and will open on March 15. The nonprofit, which has served local skiers for nearly 100 years, is still raising $1.5 million to complete the project. MontanaRightNow
- ➤ Residents and Gallatin High officials are working to ease concerns as underclassmen park on Flanders Mill and Tanzanite Drive, leading to issues with food waste and speeding that alarm neighbors. The school has pushed city efforts—such as restriping Flanders Mill and planning a new lot—to improve parking and safety. KBZK
- ➤ The 26th annual Can the Griz food drive is underway in Bozeman as MSU and UM compete to raise food and money for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank until November 22. The food bank needs 2,000 turkeys by November 23 and has received 375 as of November 12—donations will be accepted until November 21. KBZK
- ➤ The Downtown Bozeman Association announced the winner of the 45th Annual Christmas Stroll Poster Contest on Nov. 12, with artist Ghassane Moutaoukil’s design set to appear on downtown windows and event materials—he also received a $200 cash prize. The winning poster celebrates Bozeman’s festive spirit and blends traditional craft with a modern look. Bozeman Magazine

- ➤ The Bozeman Symphony launched its annual fundraising campaign today with a goal of raising $250,000. Local philanthropists Tim and Mary Barnard — along with State Farm Insurance — are matching donations up to $30,000 until January 30 to support musicians, guest artists, and community programs. - ➤ Grant applications for the Recreational Trails Program 2026 cycle began on November 12 and will be accepted until January 16. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks administers the program—offering up to $100,000 per project with a 20 percent match—and will hold a webinar on December 2 at 9 a.m. to explain the application process.
