- ➤ Two seniors at Gallatin High—Maria Mendez and Katie Crosby—are planning a clothing drive in the school gym on November 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They have collected over 15,000 articles of clothing with support from more than 20 local businesses to help students who feel uncomfortable with what they wear. - ➤ The 11th annual Bozeman’s Choice Reader’s Poll runs through Nov 6 as locals vote on their favorite aspects of town—top three contenders are printed in a guide available at key locations. Bozeman Magazine
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Montana State University marked Indigenous Peoples Day on October 13 by dedicating the Elouise Cobell Garden Arbor at American Indian Hall — around 250 people attended to honor the late Blackfeet elder and activist.
