Two seniors at Gallatin High—Maria Mendez and Katie Crosby—are planning a clothing drive in the school gym on November 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They have collected over 15,000 articles of clothing with support from more than 20 local businesses to help students who feel uncomfortable with what they wear.

The 11th annual Bozeman’s Choice Reader’s Poll runs through Nov 6 as locals vote on their favorite aspects of town—top three contenders are printed in a guide available at key locations.

Montana State University marked Indigenous Peoples Day on October 13 by dedicating the Elouise Cobell Garden Arbor at American Indian Hall — around 250 people attended to honor the late Blackfeet elder and activist.

The new space will serve for classes and community events and completes the $20 million development of the hall.
