MTN compared grocery prices at three Bozeman stores—WinCo Foods, Smith’s, and Town & Country—for bananas, toilet paper, milk, and eggs; WinCo Foods had the lowest total at $11.95 while Town & Country had the highest at $17.56, and MTN will continue monitoring prices.

Gallatin County officials say local elections in Bozeman, Belgrade and West Yellowstone, plus a Belgrade Elementary school bond vote, require voter registration by October 6, and those missing the deadline can register in person on election day.

Mail-in ballots must include the voter’s birthdate on the envelope as required by House Bill 7-19 + residents can check their registration status online.

MSU Police said security will be enhanced with metal detectors and a no-bag rule, and campus surface lots will open for parking after 6 p.m.
