- ➤ The Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman is hosting a Renaissance Fair this weekend that offers jousting, music, crafts, and other family activities. The fair is open today from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will run Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with online tickets at $18 today, $17 on Sunday, or a $30 weekend pass—gate tickets cost $20 per day. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bridger Aerospace based in Bozeman is deploying its six CL-415EAF Super Scoopers to drop water on the 421-acre West Fork fire and the 2,200-acre Bivens Creek fire using Hebgen Lake and Ruby River Reservoir. The company has dropped over 120,000 gallons on the West Fork fire since Wednesday and will continue water drops today to support wildfire suppression. KBZK
- ➤ Since Aug. 19, the West Fork Fire has burned 850 acres near West Yellowstone on Forest Service land and remains 0% contained. Fire crews — aided by shifting winds, air support and interagency coordination — are working to control the blaze while officials close roads and trails for safety. KBZK
