- ➤ A 24-year-old Bozeman man was arrested in Belgrade on Tuesday for driving a blue Toyota Tundra nearly 120 mph on I-90—missing two tires and failing a breath test—after a witness saw him toss a bag of drugs into a park trash can. KBZK
- ➤ Residents became concerned about Bozeman parking lots after multiple crimes—including an armed robbery outside Applebee’s on Tuesday—were reported, and police urged people to stay alert and call 911 when needed. KBZK

- ➤ Multiple agencies responded to a wildfire burning about 20 miles south of Big Sky in the South Madison Range—officials said the West Fork Fire, first reported before 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 19 and estimated at 50 acres, did not threaten the community. - ➤ Montanans for Nonpartisan Courts are pushing to place an amendment on the 2026 ballot to keep judicial elections nonpartisan and have submitted two versions to the Secretary of State's Office, while a second committee led by Pepper Petersen is proposing a similar measure + both efforts now await legal review and the necessary signature gathering.
