  • A 20-year-old woman died after being hit by a train last Wednesday around 4 p.m. near the Milwaukee Fishing Access site close to Three Forks.  MontanaRightNow

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Three wildfires in Madison County burned over 1,000 acres since Friday and forced evacuation warnings for residents near MT Hwy 87 + US Hwy 287. The Cloudrest, Bivens Creek and Horn fires measured 1,104.4, 1,321.8 and 2,990 acres respectively, with only the Horn fire 25% contained.  KBZK

  • Montana horse owners are preparing their barns for a harsh winter when subzero temperatures, heavy snow, and strong winds will test barn strength—insulation, sealed gaps, and proper airflow will help protect horses and supplies.
