- ➤ HRDC is getting ready for possible federal budget cuts by cutting its reliance on federal funds and using local partnerships to serve over 13,000 people each year. CEO Heather Grenier said the nonprofit reduced federal funding from 70% to about 40% and will adjust programs as needed—focusing on SNAP and Medicaid. KBZK

- ➤ On August 15th, Gallatin City-County Health Department reported that suspected harmful algal blooms were found at Hyalite Reservoir, Hebgen Lake, Heather Lake, and Elk Grove Pond — water samples have been sent to labs for testing and officials warn residents to keep children, pets, and livestock away from affected water.
