- ➤ Shante Maurice Anthony, 47, from California pleaded guilty in March for selling meth and fentanyl in Bozeman and was sentenced to 180 months in prison after DEA evidence from text messages & calls and a postal search confirmed he flew to Bozeman frequently since 2022 with a five-year supervised release pending. Earlier today, a full angling closure started at 12 a.m. on the Madison River upstream of Hebgen Reservoir near West Yellowstone, replacing the previous rule to protect fish from high water temperatures and low flows. - ➤ The Bozeman City Commission voted Tuesday evening to adopt the Pride flag as an official city flag after public comment—restoring its display outside City Hall following its removal in May due to state law. - ➤ Lawyers in Montana must earn 15 continuing legal education hours each reporting cycle—10 hours from live sessions and 5 from other methods, including 2 required ethics hours.
