  • The community rallied around the Dalton family after their trailer home flipped upside down Monday night during a severe storm — the home hit their vehicle and destroyed many belongings as Joe and Jorden worked nonstop to clean up the wreckage while local GoFundMe campaigns gathered strong support for their rebuilding efforts.  KBZK

CRIME NEWS

  • On Wednesday afternoon, 59-year-old Mark Gilbert walked into a Three Forks bank and declared it a robbery before demanding one dollar from the teller, leaving the bill on a counter, and asking for police assistance—he is now held at Gallatin County Detention Center with a court appearance set for Thursday morning.  KBZK

CULTURE NEWS

  • MSU held its third annual Juneteenth celebration Wednesday with music, food and community activities at Romney Oval to promote unity—encouraging everyone to learn and celebrate together. Chanielle Rice of the Black Student Union said the event offered a chance for education and progress in our community.  KBZK

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Gallatin City-County Health Department confirmed a cryptosporidiosis outbreak linked to turkey sandwiches at Fink’s Delicatessen in Bozeman from May 26 to June 1 that affected 22 people including one hospitalization—Fink’s is working with health officials and said there is no further public health risk.  KBZK

SPORTS NEWS

  • The 78th Montana East-West Shrine Game will be broadcast live on Saturday across Montana Television Network platforms, with a fundraiser telethon for Shriners Children's Hospital of Spokane starting at 6 p.m. from Memorial Stadium in Great Falls—local stations such as KBZK in Bozeman will air the game kickoff at 7 p.m.  KBZK
