ECONOMY NEWS

  • A 1997 receipt from a local thrift store showed that buying 27 grocery items cost about $39, but a recreated trip using Bozeman products now totals $110 (far above inflation estimates). Local residents report that rising food prices are straining household budgets.  KBZK

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Emily Dickinson Elementary School in Bozeman will unveil three new stained glass windows created by the fifth-grade class after raising over $10,000, with $3,000 supporting student lunch debt. The artwork—featuring Montana-inspired images like Old Faithful and Lewis and Clark—reflects a legacy project connecting students and locals.  KBZK
