- ➤ The new Homeward Point shelter campus in Bozeman is nearly complete and is built to support families and individuals facing homelessness in Gallatin Valley. HRDC said the $16 million project offers low-barrier services like classrooms and meeting spaces — it still needs about $800,000 for furnishings before opening later this summer. KBZK
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ On May 15th, the Crystal Cross Fishing Access Site on the upper Yellowstone River was temporarily closed when a grizzly bear was seen feeding on a carcass—no conflicts were reported. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks staff monitored the area and will reopen the site when conditions allow. Bozeman Magazine

- ➤ On May 7th, the City Commission announced that Chuck Winn has been made the permanent City Manager after serving as Interim City Manager since February 2024.
