- ➤ Big Sky Resort raised $162,600 by selling 125 historic Explorer 2 chairs online, with each local nonprofit – Big Sky Community Housing Trust, Gallatin River Task Force, and Wellness in Action – receiving $54,200 to support their work. The chairs sold out in less than 30 minutes, and a new Explorer Gondola will debut this winter & complete the resort’s 2025 vision. Bozeman Magazine
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Travis Luke Kamps, 40, is charged with motor vehicle theft after he allegedly fled from a stolen truck on foot in Belgrade (he was arrested on Sunday) and appeared in Gallatin County Justice Court on Monday with bail set at $100,000 and a next hearing scheduled for May 9. KBZK
- ➤ The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office identified a suspect in a vehicle theft and pursuit, and investigators are gathering more evidence on the case. MontanaRightNow
