- ➤ Heather Ann Harrington pled no contest to negligent homicide for the fatal shooting of George Sobrepena at a Belgrade trailer park on Oct. 31 — sentencing is set for May 30 — and her plea resolves the deliberate homicide charges she once faced. KBZK
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Three international students at Montana State University had their F-1 visa statuses revoked under the authority of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security — an email from President Waded Cruzado sent Friday said the affected students were notified and given campus resources. The university said it is following federal and privacy laws. KBZK

- ➤ A Montana Department of Transportation worker said drivers must be careful on I-94 near Pompeys Pillar last week after he narrowly avoided a collision when, while helping a woman whose vehicle lost control, another car slid within 15 feet of him+ he urged drivers to slow down+ move over when they see warning lights.
