- ➤ Montana travelers will need a REAL ID-compliant form of identification by May 7 to board domestic flights for summer travel. Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport officials urge travelers to book DMV appointments now to avoid delays at security checkpoints. KBZK
- ➤ The Montana House passed SB 224 on Wednesday to set Indigenous Peoples Day on the second Monday in October while keeping Columbus Day on the same day, and a final vote will be held today before the bill goes to Gov. Gianforte. The bill also renames the February holiday to Presidents Day—Sen. Shane Morigeau supports the effort—adding more official recognition to the state's heritage. KBZK
- ➤ The Gallatin County Local Government Study Commission will hold its first public hearing today at 5:30 p.m. in the Gallatin County Courthouse Community Room on Main Street, where the commission—elected in November—reviews the county system as allowed by the Montana State Constitution after each census.
