- ➤ One Valley Community Foundation announced commonFont as the new Headline Sponsor for Give Big Gallatin Valley, Montana’s largest 24-hour giving initiative. The event will run from 6 p.m. April 30 to 6 p.m. May 1 and aims to engage 7,000 donors (over $20.4 million raised since 2015). Bozeman Magazine
- ➤ Eagle Mount is launching its 'Bridge to Our Future' initiative to upgrade its campus with a new aquatic center roof, 19 acres of land and a round pen for horsemanship activities—$7.5 million has been donated toward the $8 million goal, and a community event is set for June 13. MontanaRightNow

- ➤ A 39-year-old woman was killed last Thursday while crossing Oak Street at Agate Avenue near Gallatin County Regional Park, and residents urged city officials to add flashing lights to improve pedestrian safety. KBZK

- ➤ David Kack from the Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University is testing pop-up traffic calming and side friction measures to slow speeds and boost safety today in Bozeman.
