  • Bodhi Farms near Bozeman received a $10,000 grant from the Montana Department of Commerce to build an eco-powered greenhouse, expected to be ready by April to expand its year-round farm-to-table dining and educational programs.  KBZK

  • At Bozeman High School's Robert and Gennie DeWeese Gallery, 89 skateboard decks by 95 artists are on online auction until Feb. 26 to fund skatepark projects in Ennis and Bozeman (50% for Ennis, 50% for Bozeman) with bids reaching $250 in early sales.  KBZK
  • Bozeman Children's Theatre will present Heathers: Teen Edition from Feb. 27 to Feb. 28 at Willson Auditorium. The show, featuring 40 high school performers & community partners from Bozeman Health, Bozeman Schools Foundation, and the Help Center, will include licensed mental health support and post-show discussions.  KBZK
  • Twenty MSU students and local artists unveiled skateboard designs at the 2026 Deck Show at Bozeman High School to aid planned skateparks in Bozeman and Ennis.   • Stillwater officials say the heavy tariff on Russian palladium—set at 132.83% and starting next week—could help reopen Montana's largest mine and bring back nearly 700 laid-off workers as the company plans for long-term stability.  KBZK

  • MSU Extension experts warn that record warm winter temperatures may trigger early plant flowering in the Gallatin Valley, causing bees to face food shortages and lowering pollination while also boosting tick numbers + possibly affecting outdoor recreation; gardeners and farmers are advised to seek guidance from their local horticulture extension.  KBZK

HEALTH NEWS
