  • Montana ranchers are calling for mandatory beef labeling (COOL) because voluntary rules do not ensure traceability amid rising imported beef use; producers say clear country-of-origin details will boost consumer trust. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Travelers in Bozeman without a REAL ID or passport must use the TSA’s new ConfirmID system; they pay a $45 fee online that is valid for 10 days, and check-in takes 10 to 15 minutes (passengers may be turned away if their identity isn’t verified).  KBZK
