The Elise Event: Classic Rock Dinner Theater Supporting Schools

About this event

What happens when Shakespeare meets 1970s inspired classic rock? Find out at this year’s Elise Event, featuring dinner, live music, and a one-of-a-kind performance of "The Comedy of Errors" in support of Shakespeare in the Schools. Join us Sunday, November 8th at 4:00 PM in the SUB Ballroom on MSU's campus for a special dinner theater experience featuring the 2026 Shakespeare in the Schools production of "The Comedy of Errors." For the first time in the history of the program, live music is an integral part of the production, bringing a new classic-rock energy to one of Shakespeare’s funniest plays. Your evening includes a full dinner, partially hosted bar, and opportunities to mingle with the cast, director Kevin Asselin, and members of the MSIP creative team. Following the performance, enjoy a lively Q&A and learn more about the impact of Shakespeare in the Schools. General Admission tickets are $75 and proceeds directly benefit the Schools program. Artistic Director's Circle members receive 2 complimentary tickets: confirm your attendance by contacting MSIP Associate Artistic Director, Riley O'Toole at riley.otoole@montana.edu.
